Hello! My name is Tom Mitchell.I'm a music producer, cinematographer, filmmaker and musician from Scotland.
I spend most of my days being creative. I make a living by helping musicians create recordings or providing a filmmaking service that holds no artistic boundaries!
I'm an extremely ambitious, modest and passionate person & I take a huge amount of pride in how I choose to spend my time each day.
My other loves include : being nostalgic, watching the same films over and over, eating, running, obtaining a sense of freedom, lucid dreaming, making others happy, having a family, being late for everything, buying things, and the moments where I remember that worry never robs tomorrow of its sorrow, it only saps today of its joy.
This blog is a combination of my work, my thoughts, and some random inspiration.

A video I created after a solo trip to Iceland. The whole experience of going alone in such a baron, but beautiful country, was incredible. I expected to come home like most filmmakers, with lots of footage of timelapsed skies and a sigur ros soundtrack to boot - quite the opposite happened…thankfully!
My claim to internet fame. I spoke to Kings of Leon on the phone about having done this to them…They were grateful as it made their grandma laugh apparently. The little things!
So this is a brand new shitty blog from your’s truly, Tom Mitchell. What can I promise you will find on here if you follow me? Well…I can’t promise much. I’ve never claimed to be ‘internet cool’ and I’m usually behind with the times - But that might make things more interesting, right?
